Eid-ul-Fitr to be celebrated tomorrow – Shawwal Moon sighted

• Fawad Chaudhry had already using the advanced satellite technology given exact locations from where Shawwal moon had to be sighted

Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated with religious enthusiasm tomorrow on Sunday 24^th May.

The announcement was made by the Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman after meeting of the committee in Karachi tonight as they received witnesses of sighting the Moon of Shawwal 1441 AH from Balochistan and other parts of the country.

Fawad Chaudhry the Federal Minister of Science and Technology had already using the advanced satellite technology given exact locations from where Shawwal moon had to be sighted and had declared Eid-ul-Fitr on 24th May which had infuriated the Federal Minister of Religious Affairs Noor ul Haq Qadri and the Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman who were of the view that Fawad Chaudhry should not have announced Eid prior to their announcement.
