UN Secretary General António Guterres released a statement declaring the eradication of Islamophobia as his top priority as per sources.

Pakistan’s federal Information Minister Shibli Faraz praised and welcomed the statement of UN Sec. General.

Shibli Faraz released a tweet from his official twitter handle in Urdu language declaring the UN Sec. General Statement against Islamophobia in India and elsewhere as an acceptance of the Pakistani government’s stance.

Shibli added that connecting coronavirus to Muslims |in India| reflects the BJP’s mindset based on hatred and the extremist posture of |modi led Indian Govt. and Army| against the Muslim population which is severe violation of human rights.
