CoronaVirus mutated variant isolates Britain from the entire world

London (The HQ News) – The recent spread of a new strain (mutated variant) of Corona Virus in the Britain which infects the victims even faster (70 % more transmissible as per warning of Prime Minister Boris Johnson) with higher mortality rates has forced almost all countries of the world to take special measures for land, sea and air travel to and from Britain.

Pakistan, Jordan, Russia, India, Poland, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Ireland, Belgium, Canada Hong Kong and many other countries suspended travel for Britons  while Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Oman closed their borders completely for Britain.

Experts suspect that the new mutated corona virus strain may have already spread to some European countries and the USA but haven’t been identified as yet and the situation will be cleared in coming weeks.

EU authorities taking the matter on urgent level met via video link to coordinate their response to the new strain of the coronavirus. EU will start COVID-19 vaccinations within a week after its medicines regulator approved the use of a shot from Pfizer and BioNTech on Monday.

The biggest blow due to the discovery and spread of the new mutated stronger CoronaVirus will be to the recently approved vaccines for the virus which had earlier created a big hope for the mankind.

Saad Shakir, a director at Britain’s drug safety research unit commenting on the issue said: “Since the three vaccine forerunners target the spike protein, how the variant responds to the vaccines and the protection that the vaccine will offer does still need to be examined in detail”.

Experts claim that there is no evidence that vaccines would not protect against the new mutated coronavirus but the level of efficacy of vaccines is yet to be determined for which continuous work and research is underway.

The CoronaVirus pandemic has killed 67,000 in Britain, about 318,000 in the U.S.and almost 1.7 million people globally.
