4 new Polio cases detected in Pakistan
ISLAMABAD: Four new cases of polio are being detected in Pakistan of which two are from Punjab and the other from Sindh province.
One case from Sindh is of a five year old boy from Deenpur union council, Thull tehsil Jacobabad District – the boy has already got paralysed due to polio.
While the second case is of a minor a 48-month boy, resident of Phulladyn Union Council, Sindhri Tehsil, Mirpurkhaas District.
In Punjab both the polio affected are girls from Aali Wala Union Council, Dera Ghazi Khan Tehsil in the ages of four months and ten months.
The total polio virus cases in Pakistan for current year 2020 have now reached to seven after the addition of these four new cases.
