Putin to legally annex seized Ukrainian lands in Russia
Russia claims that the referendums were transparent and true supported by public and warned it could use nuclear weapons to defend Russian territory if necessary while tens of thousands of Russian men are being called-up for military services.
LONDON (The HQ News) – President Vladimir Putin will sign legal documents on Friday proclaiming Russia’s annexation of four Ukrainian regions which will lead to formal annexation of 15% of Ukraine’s territory.
Ukrainian govt. and its western allies claim that the referendums held by Russia are false and forced through use of power by Russian Armed forces and thus they reject them and consider all such acts of ukranian lands annexations into Russia as illegal.
Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelenskiy called the country’s security and defence chiefs for an emergency meeting to be held on Friday.
The Ukranian President vowed strong response to the Russian acts of annexation of its lands and deemed these Russian acts as deadlock in the revival of peace talk with Russia.
Zelenskiy said “the votes are worthless and do not change reality. The territorial integrity of Ukraine will be restored. And our reaction to recognition of the results by Russia will be very harsh.”
The annexation ceremony will be held in one of the Kremlin’s grandest halls with the leaders of these regions i.e. Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk and Luhansk – all considered faithful to Russia.
Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that the Agreements “on the accession of new territories into the Russian Federation” will be signed “with all four territories that held referendums and made corresponding requests to the Russian side,” followed by a Speech on the event by Putin.
A big concert will be held on Friday on Moscow’s Red Square, where a tribune with giant video screens has already been set up, with billboards proclaiming “Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson – Russia!”
