Prime Minister Imran Khan arrives in Karachi on day-long visit
KARACHI (9th December, 2018): Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan arrived in Karachi today on a day-long visit.
PM was received at the airport by Governor Sindh Imran Ismail. The two held a one-on-one meeting, during which they discussed matters related to the political situation and ongoing development projects, Radio Pakistan reported.
The PM is scheduled to hold several meetings including with Governor Sindh Imran Ismail, Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, PTI lawmakers, delegations from the business community and others.
PM will be briefed about development projects in Sindh province, problems faced by the residents, business community and the newly erupted situation due to the anti-encroachment drive in Karachi and other important issues.
This is PM Imran Khan’s second visit to Karachi with last visit in September, after taking oath as the country’s PM.
