Pakistan’s power transmission infrastructure which was severely damaged by recent floods has been fully restored

the government is also busy on a very large scale conducting a joint survey to assess losses caused by the recent floods in Pakistan after which the rehabilitation of the flood affectees will be done and also a longterm policy will be made and measures for countering future floods will be taken.

GUJRANWALA (The HQ News) – Pakistan’s federal Minister for Energy Mr. Khurram Dastagir has announced that the power transmission infrastructure which was severely damaged by recent floods has been fully restored.

The minister also added that a vital grid station of 500 KV in Dadu city was secured from flood water with the help of Army by raising an embankment on emergency basis.

The Minister had prior to this announcement also visited Dadu grid station and a tent city for flood affectees which was established in the premises of grid station where he assured the flood affectees of provision of all basic amenities including food, medicines, clean drinking water and other required aid.
