Pakistani’s and Muslims all over the world celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAWW) today with religious zeal, fervor

'Milad un Nabi' is the day observed as the birth anniversary of the last messenger, the last Prophet sent by ALLAH ALMIGHTY i.e. HAZRAT MUHAMMED MUSTAFA Sallallah-o-Alaihe Wa Aalehe Wassallam  who was the founder of Islam and the proclaimer of the Holy book Qurʾan as sent by ALLAH ALMIGHTY.

‘Milad un Nabi’ is the day observed as the birth anniversary of the last messenger, the last Prophet sent by ALLAH ALMIGHTY i.e. HAZRAT MUHAMMED MUSTAFA Sallallah-o-Alaihe Wa Aalehe Wassallam  who was the founder of Islam and the proclaimer of the Holy book Qurʾan as sent by ALLAH ALMIGHTY.

Pakistani’s and Muslims all over the world celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi Sallallah-o-Alaihe Wa Aalehe Wassallam (SAWW / Peace Be Upon Him) today with religious zeal, fervor.

On this holy day the entire Pakistani Nation and the Muslims around the world renew the pledge to transform their lives in line with the teachings of the Holy Prophet Hazrat MUHAMMED MUSTAFA Sallallah-o-Alaihe Wa Aalehe Wassallam.

The day dawned with 31-gun salute in Islamabad the federal capital of Pakistan and 21-gun salute in all provincial capitals.

All over Pakistan major buildings, streets, roads, markets have been beautifully decorated and illuminated with lights, colours and banners bearing writings about the celebration of Eid Milad-un-Nabi Sallallah-o-Alaihe Wa Aalehe Wassallam.

Special prayers were offered in mosques for upholding and unity among Muslims, solidarity, progress, peace in the world and welfare of the Muslim Ummah.

Numerous activities including Mehfil-e-Milad, confrences are being held to pay respect to the Last Messenger of ALLAH ALMIGHTY Hazrat MUHAMMED MUSTAFA (SAWW) whose life and teachings are a beacon of light for the whole of mankind.

Strict security arrangements have been taken to counter any untoward incidents and ensure the safety of the citizens.

The last Prophet HAZRAT MUHAMMED MUSTAFA  (PBUH) was born in Mecca on 12 Rabiulawal in the year 570 CE. The last prophet’s full name is Abū al-Qāsim Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib ibn Hāshim.

Since the Islamic calendar is based on lunar cycles, the date in the Gregorian calendar vary each year. The Islamic Calendar is about 11 days shorter than the Gregorian calendar, meaning that in some years this holiday will occur twice. This year the last Prophet HAZRAT MUHAMMED MUSTAFA  (PBUH) birth anniversary as per Gregorian calendar came on 9th October, Sunday.
