Pakistan, UAE agree on early signing of MoU for expats safe migration

ISLAMABAD (Wed, Jan 30, 2019): Pakistan has suggested amendment in a Memorandum of Understanding to ensure legal and risk-free migration of Pakistani manpower with the United Arab Emirates, likely to be signed next month.

The Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis Syed Zulfikar Bukhari  proposed three minor changes in Articles dealing with remittances sending procedure and mechanism to resolve labour disputes.

The special Assistant handed over the amended draft to the UAE Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation ‘Nasser Juma Al Hameli’ during a meeting in UAE.

The UAE authorities assured Zulfikar Bukhari that the MoU would be signed soon after going through the proposition made by the Pakistani side.

Syed Zulfikar Bukhari is working very hard to resolve the decades old pending/unconsidered  issues of Pakistan’s oversees labour force and is also very motivated to sign new deals with many countries to increase the export of Pakistani human resource. If Syed Zulfikar Bukhari’s efforts are matured timely Pakistan can become one of the world’s most stable country economically and the image of our country will also be greatly improved.

The Prime Minister Imran Khan’s choice of Syed Zulfikar Bukhari for overseas Pakistani’s affairs has proved to be a great one for the betterment of Pakistan’s image and economy.
