MQM-P’s Syed Aminul Haque took oath as Federal Minister for Information Technology
ISLAMABAD – Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) affiliated member national assembly Syed Aminul Haque took oath as Federal Minister for Information Technology, today.
President Dr. Arif Alvi administered Syed Aminul Haque’s oath.
Earlier this month, Prime Minister Imran Khan brought major changes in his cabinet when Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) report regards to Flour and Surgar cartels was leaked to public.
After the changes Hammad Azhar had been relieved of the portfolio of economic affairs and given portfolio of Minister for Industries while Makhdoon Khusru Bakhtiyar was given the portfolio of Federal Minister for Economic Affairs.
Babar Awan was reappointed as Advisor for Parliamentary Affairs (as earlier he had resigned from the portfolio being under NAB investigation), Syed Fakhar Imam was named Federal Minister for National Food Security.
MQM-P convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui’s resignation as IT minister was accepted by Imran Khan and in replacement Syed Aminul Haque is being taken as federal minister.
