Maryam Nawaz vows to play role for justice as Nawaz departs for Islamabad, sources

LAHORE(December 23rd 2018): Maryam Nawaz Sharif has vowed to play her role as a Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz worker to raise voice for justice for party leader Nawaz Sharif, sources informed.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif expressed her ambitions in a meeting with her father and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif today, as per sources. She was quoted as saying that the accountability court’s decisions meant to distance her father from the masses were grounded in baseless assumptions.

Nawaz Sharif arrived to Islamabad from Lahore today, ahead of the accountability court’s verdicts in the remaining two corruption references against the Sharif family: Flagship investment and Al-Azizia steel mills.

Nawaz Sharif will be present at the accountability court tomorrow to hear the verdict, the sources added. Earlier it was informed that he will not attend the court on Monday.

Meanwhile today the PML-N leader is scheduled to meet senior party representatives and legal aides for further discussions on possible future strategy in view of tomorrow’s court verdict’s, as per sources.

Maryam Nawaz with this announcement has also broken the long silence which was being questioned repeatedly by media and lawmakers.

Her return in active politics will create a balance in Pakistani politics and shall be welcomed.
