Kamyab Jawan Programme – Asad Umar open to advice from the youth and commits to expand the scope of programme

Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Planning and Development Mr. Asad Umar says the scope of Prime Minister’s Kamyab Jawan Youth Entrepreneurship Program would be further expanded.

Asad Umar chaired a meeting in Islamabad to review Kamyab Jawan Programme’s progress.

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Muhammad Usman Dar apprised the meeting about progress of the two components already launched under the Kamyab Jawan Programme.

The members were informed that subsidized loan amounting to 7.127 billion rupees has been disbursed to 5852 Youth as per programme’s policy.

Asad Umar said under the programme, loans would be provided to about one hundred thousand youth for employment generation and socio-economic uplift.

Asad Umar in his latest video message said that “Youth is Pakistan’s greatest asset. We are working on the policies with the experts but the most important feedback needed is by the Youth itself”.
