Dr Mahathir Mohammed the Prime Minister of Malaysia will arrive in Islamabad today on a three-day visit to Pakistan on the invitation of his counterpart Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Dr Mahathir Mohammed will be accompanied by a high-level delegation including several top businessmen.
Dr Mahathir Mohammed is invited specially in Pakistan as the Guest of Honour at the Pakistan Day Parade which is held on 23rd March every year.
The Malaysian PM will also meet Pakistan’s President Dr. Arif Alvi and other high level dignitaries particularly Army Chief Bajwa as per sources.
The two Prime Ministers will also speak at the Round Table meeting of the CEOs of industries, who desire to invest in automobile and telecommunication sectors of Pakistan.
Pakistan’s Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr. Muhammad Faisal, in a statement said “the focus of the visit is on enhancing economic, trade, investment, and defence ties for the mutual benefit of the peoples of the two countries” and “it will further cement the existing brotherly and friendly relations between the two countries”.
