Dean Jones (former Australian batsman) one of the most famous and esteemed foreign star of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and currently the coach of Karachi Kings team has expressed profound satisfaction over the security arrangements during the recent edition of PSL being entirely held in Pakistan for the first time.
Talking to media Jones said: “the security was very well run and their |PSL Security team| attitudes to all the teams was fantastic, they were protecting us with a smile always. If security is maintained at the same level throughout then international teams won’t have any issues at all in touring Pakistan”.
Further praising the security arrangements of PSL he even advised the Cricket Authority of Australia (his home country) to follow all the security measures adopted during the recent edition of the PSL by Pakistan as per the sources.
The credit of massive improvement in overall security situation in Pakistan goes to General Faiz Hameed Baloch the country’s Director General Intelligence who has effectively made Pakistan one of the world’s most safest countries which even was recently appreciated by the United Nations |which restored Islamabad’s status as a family station for its staffers| and similarly many other western countries declared Pakistan safe for tourism and travel for their citizens.
Asif Mehmood (Colonel Retired.) who joined PCB last year as “Director Security and Anti-Corruption” is leading PCB and PSL’s security affairs – has using his decades of experience in intelligence and security overhauled the entire security systems in Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the PSL – making the security almost foolproof.
