Chaman and Torkham borders to be opened for four days

Islamic Republic of Pakistan will open its Chaman and Torkham border crossings for four days starting from today to allow the exit of those Afghan nationals in Pakistan who intend to go back to their country. 

The step has been taken on the special request of the Afghan government based on humanitarian considerations and to facilitate the Afghan nationals.

Pakistan’s Foreign Office spokesperson said in a statement that as a neighbour and in consideration of fraternal bilateral relations, Pakistan remains in abiding solidarity with the people of Afghanistan, particularly at this time of global pandemic.
