British PM in hospital with persistent coronavirus symptoms
LONDON – Boris Johnson the British Prime Minister was still in hospital on Monday and spent the night in hospital as per sources.
Johnson 55-year-old is suffering persistent coronavirus (COVID-2019) symptoms ten days after testing positive for the virus.
Johnson is holding the charge of the British government even though being ill, managing the government affairs while in isolation in Downing Street after testing positive for the virus last month.
He was taken to hospital on Sunday night because he still had a high temperature and his doctors felt he needed additional tests
as a precautionary step, because his post coronavirus symptoms are not going away.
Johnson was among the many top international leaders initially being in denial of coronavirus severity became the first leader of a major power to announce that he had tested positive and went into isolation at an apartment in Downing Street and said on Friday he was staying there as he still had a high temperature.
