Azerbaijan won the battle against Armenia both on the ground and on negotiation tables

MOSCOW/BAKU (The HQ News) – The six weeks heavy fighting between Azerbaijan and ethnic Armenian forces ended with Azerbaijan winning the battle both on the ground and on negotiation tables.

The battle between Azerbaijaan and Armenia started on September 27, 2020 after continuous border violations, attacks on innocent civilians and use of brutal force by Armenia.

Armenia has surrendered and agreed to the final pact under which Azerbaijan will keep territorial gains made in the fighting, including the mountain enclave Nagorno-Karabakh’s second city of Shusha, which Armenians call Shushi.

The pact also includes that Ethnic Armenian forces must give up control of a slew of other territories from now till December 1st 2020.

Under the ceasefire pact Russian peacekeeping troops have already deployed to the mountain enclave of Nagorno-Karabakh on Tuesday to end six weeks of heavy fighting between Azerbaijan and ethnic Armenian forces.

Armenia’s defence ministry said military action had halted and calm had been restored in the breakaway territory |which is internationally recognized as part of Azerbaijan but populated and until recently illegellay occupied by ethnic Armenians|.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said: “This (ceasefire) statement has historic significance. This statement constitutes Armenia’s capitulation. This statement puts an end to the years-long occupation.”

Vladimir Putin the President of Russia hailing the ceasefire pact said the deal should pave the way for a lasting political settlement of a conflict that has killed thousands, displaced many more, and had threatened to plunge the wider region into war.

The massive and historic victory of Azerbaijan stirred a wave of happiness all over Azerbaijan, the nation is cheering and celebrating, vehicles sounding their horns in delight, Azeri national flags are waved everywhere.

Prior to the pact Azeris in majority were eager to sacrifice their lives and whatever worldly resources they have but take back control of entire Nagorno-Karabakh and now that the ceasefire pact is signed under the influence of Russia many Azeris feel being stopped halfway from their success.

Nagorno-Karabakh leader Arayik Harutyunyan admitted that if the ceasefire pact was not signed Armenia would have lost the entire enclave to Azerbaijan.

Similarly the Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan admitted having no other choice than to sign a peace deal after detailed deliberations with defence experts and army officials, as per sources.

On the other side in Armenia huge crowds have started resistance against their own government blaming Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan led government having betrayed the nation.

Turkey under Recep Tayyip Erdogan has fully supported Azerbaijan morally, internationally and through logistical support while Islamic Republic of Pakistan has openly extended its political, moral and diplomatic support to Azerbaijan declaring Azerbaijan as just in its demands while Armenia as aggressor and illegal occupier of Azerbaijan territories.
