Social media platform Twitter on Saturday suspended the official account of PTI worker Shahbaz Gill on violating Twitter rules.
Sources on basis of anonymity have informed “The HeadQuarters” Daily that Shahbaz Gill was using paid followers and robotic retweeting and like system which is against the policy and creates burden over servers and thus may have been blocked/suspended from the system.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has asked the social media giant to lift the suspension immediately.
Tweeting about the incident, PTI wrote: “@Twitter – Dr Shahbaz Gill – Official spokesperson of Chief Minister Punjab @UsmanAKBuzdar ,.” his account has been suspended when there was NO violation of any Twitter policy or rules. Would request twitter to look into it and lift the suspension immediately. @verified.”
