Trade halted due to Coronavirus fears resumed at Pak-Iran Border

The Taftan border which was sealed in the last week of February 2020 due to the massive spread of new Coronavirus in Iran has now been opened.

Trade activities resumed at Pak-Iran border with 135 long vehicles laden with LPG cylinders and other goods which arrived at dry port of Taftan.

The Iranian drivers and cleaners were screened for possible coronavirus infection at the crossing point.

Meanwhile, 77 pilgrims returned from Iran screened and shifted to quarantine set-up at Taftan border.
