Tents, food to be provided to homeless in Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar: PM
ISLAMABAD (24th Nov, 2018): Prime Minister Imran Khan today at 9:29 AM tweeted that : “I have asked CM Punjab to set up tents for people sleeping on footpaths and provide them food until the Panah Gahs (shelters) are built, as the weather is turning increasingly cold. Peshawar and Karachi spots also being located”.

PM Imran Khan’s this humanitarian act and thought for the deprived of the society is well appreciated by all in Pakistan and abroad.
Later in a follow up tweet at 1:29 PM Imran Khan shared that “Tents being setup in Lahore today as temporary Panah Gahs (shelters) for the homeless sleeping on the footpaths of the provincial capital”.
This tweet also had picture of temporary Panah Gahs being set up in the provincial capital and also showed inside the blankets and other basic required facilities provided there in for the deprived of the society.

This is in follow up of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s 10th Nov 2018 announcement of Shelter Homes in Lahore, Rawalpindi cities of Pakistan.
Today I laid the foundation for 1st of 5 shelters for the homeless in Lahore & one in Pindi to be followed by shelters in other cities.
