PTI led Govt. to amend NAB laws to remove fears of investors : Dr Firdous

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led government intends to amend the Pakistan’s premier anti-corruption authority National Accountability Bureau (NAB) laws to remove fears of bureaucrats and investors, as being revealed by the Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan.

In a media talk Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan said the investors want to invest their money, but they have concerns over NAB laws.

The PTI led government has strong desire to strengthen economy, therefore the decision for changing the NAB laws is being taken, she said.

Few months before also similar voices from within PTI were heard but due to the lack of support from opposition the ruling party could not bring any such legislation.
