South African cricketer AB de Villiers will not be coming to Pakistan to play in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2019 fixtures in Karachi.
The cricketer has cited fitness as the excuse for not touring the country.
He is representing the Lahore Qalandars in the ongoing fourth edition of the domestic tournament. He had signed a contract to play the fixture in Lahore. His announcement came following the shifting of PSL fixtures from Lahore to Karachi.
Three PSL fixtures were scheduled to be played in Lahore but they have been shifted to Karachi due to logistical issues.
The Pakistan Cricket Board has also rescheduled the fixtures as the Lahore Qalandars-Islamabad United fixture will be played on March 9 instead of March 7 at 7pm.
The Karachi Kings will take on the Quetta Gladiators while the Lahore Qalandars play the Multan Sultans on March 10.
The Lahore Qalandars will clash against the Multan Sultans while the Karachi Kings will go head-to-head against Peshawar Zalmi on March 11.
The qualifier will be played on March 13 while the two eliminators will be played on March 14 and 15. The final will be played on March 17.
