PM Imran Khan arrives in UAE for day-long visit
ABU DHABI-ISLAMABAD (Sunday, 18th Nov, 2018): Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan reached Abu Dhabi on a day-long visit to the United Arab Emirates today, on the invitation of Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi ‘Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahyan’.
The Prime Minister is accompanied by Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi (who had reached UAE earlier), Finance Minister Asad Umar, Petroleum Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan, Minister of Energy and Power Omar Ayub Khan and adviser to PM on Commerce Abdul Razak Dawood.
A guard of honour was presented to Prime Minister of Pakistan when he reached the presidential palace, where he was greeted by the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.
PM Imran Khan is expected to discuss matters of bilateral, regional and global interests in meetings with the crown prince, UAE Prime Minister Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and other important officials.
Earlier PM Imran Khan had visited UAE on 19th September and this is his second visit to the country considered as a very close ally of Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
