Pakistani nation and Armed Forces pay tribute to Syed Ali Shah Geelani’s lifelong struggle for right to self-determination

Pakistani nation and Armed Forces paid tributes to Syed Ali Shah Geelani today in remembrance of his lifelong struggle for right to self–determination and struggle against Indian oppression and atrocities in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOJK).

September 1 today marks the first death anniversary of veteran Kashmiri separatist leader and former chief of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Syed Ali Shah Geelani.

Pakistan’s Armed Forces through its spokesperson ISPR on behalf of the entire Pakistani Nation and Armed Forces of Pakistan paid tributes to the brave Syed Ali Shah Geelani for his epic resistance and fight against the worst Indian oppression and atrocities in Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOJK).

Major General Babar Iftikhar representing ISPR appreciated Syed Ali Shah Geelani’s lifelong struggle for right to self determination as per aspirations of the people of Kashmir and United Nations (UN) resolutions and stated that Geelani’s sacrifices will always inspire generations to come.
