Pakistan-Afghanistan Trade and Investment Forum starts today

Pakistan-Afghanistan Trade and Investment Forum a two-day seminar to promote bilateral trade, linkage and regional growth will commence in Islamabad today.

Legislators, entrepreneurs, traders from both the countries will deliberate on ways and means to open up new panoramas of cooperation and boosting bilateral trade between the two neighbouring countries.

The prime focus during the event will be on investment opportunities in manufacturing sector, agriculture, food, livestock, minerals and opportunities in services.

Afghanistan being a landlocked country largely depends on imports from/via Pakistan while the Pakistani economy can significantly boost if it gives priority to Afghanistan’s needs.
