Pak Visa issuance to Afghans partially restricted due to “Afghan Thug Mafia”

Pakistan Embassy in Kabul has partially restricted visa issuance to Afghans with the exception of senior persons, women, patients and businessmen.

According to an embassy spokesperson, the step has been taken after harassment by a thuggish group outside the embassy who takes bribe from people to grant them access to consular section.

The members of group hold sticks in their hands as a weapon to create fear among visa seekers and they are also supported by Afghan police who is silent and not taking action against the illegal group which are a severe security threat to both Pak Embassy in Kabul and the Afghans coming for Visa to Pakistan, as per sources.

Pak Embassy in Afghanistan will resume complete visa service after the Afghan government and their responsible authorities’ takes action against the group.
