Operation Radd-ul-Fasad – a Major Terrorist Attack in Balochistan foiled by Frontier Corps
In the ongoing ‘Operation Radd-ul-Fasad’ a major terrorist attack in Balochistan is foiled as per the Army’s media division ‘Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR)’.
ISPR said “[The] FC foiled the terrorist activity by recovering 2,000 kilograms of explosives from a vehicle through a special intelligence-based operation in Spin Tezha, Killa Abdullah.”
Pakistan Army initiated ‘Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad’ across the country in February this year to counter the continued terror wave, which claimed more than 100 lives.
The operation is aimed at “indiscriminately eliminating the residual/latent threat of terrorism”, consolidating the gains made in other military operations.
Earlier this month, several terrorists were killed and their hideouts decimated as the army, along with Special Services Group (SSG), successfully cleared the highest mountaintop – ‘Brekh Muhammad Kandao’, near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
