India Cages over 14.7 M Kashmiris, attempts Massacre of Muslims & provokes War in the Nuclear Armed Region, Sardar Mandokhel

  • India’s Massacre of Mulims in J&K will delay ‘Afghan Peace Process’ and result Donald Trump’s loss in 2020 US Presidential Elections
  • India’s unilateral steps to revoke special rights from disputed Muslim Majority J&K Territory are severe violations of UNSC resolutions on Kashmir

ISLAMABAD – PAKISTAN / SRINAGAR – OCCUPIED J&K – India on 5th and 6th August, 2019 unilaterally and illegally using its Hindu Majority legislatures revoked the decades old special status of ‘Muslim Majority disputed territory of Jammu & Kashmir (J&K)’ and withdrew all the special right of the J&K people in severe violations of various resolutions of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC).

Indian President Ram Nath Kovind on 5th August issued a constitutional order revoking Article 370 along other sub articles and making all the provisions of the Indian constitution applicable to J&K  which was approved by both the Hindu Majority houses of Indian Parliament. This was followed by the passage of another unilateral bill named as “Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Bill” by the Indian Parliament through which India proposes to divide the region of Jammu and Kashmir into two union territories : 1) Jammu and Kashmir and 2) Ladakh.

What is Article 370 and Article 35A and their importance?

Article 370 was the India’s self-imposed article of the Constitution keeping in view the special and disputed status of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) which provided special status and special rights to the region of J&K, giving J&K right of a separate constitution, its own state flag and autonomy over the internal administration of the J&K region.

Article 35A which was also part of the Indian Constitution read along Article 370 assured that the J&K residents live under a separate set of laws, including those related to citizenship, ownership of property and fundamental rights – as compared to resident of other Indian states with a prime purpose to restrict Indian citizens from other states not to purchase land or property in Jammu & Kashmir so that the Muslim Majority status of the J&K is not affected till the region decides its fate for future as per UNSC Resolutions.

Indian motive for revoking Article 370:

Though India had itself unilaterally adopted the article 370 in the past to pacify the angry Kashmiris whose territory India had occupied with force in 1947 and to also to assure Kashmiris their fundamental rights – but since India’s Hindu Majority legislature had introduced these articles only under pressure in the past while their on ground treatment of the Muslim Majority J&K has always been oppressive therefore recently the Modi led government decided to completely do away with these articles as they felt being seized in India’s own commitments and constitutional articles extended to the Kashmiris of the J&K Territory.

To get away with the special status, rights extended to the people of J&K (though only in papers and constitution), with the aim of changing the status of J&K from Muslim Majority to Hindu Majority and to increase India’s control on the J&K region, India has since long had been making excuses of militancy and terrorism from Pakistani borders and inside the territory of J&K which always were found to be India sponsored later on just to downgrade Pakistan in the international community and make India’s goal of completely taking over J&K easier. For all these

Modi led government had plans of revoking the Article 370 since February, 2019 but did not do so then due to the fear of international backlash and increase in tensions with Pakistan and also within its own borders.

Why India took these unilateral, illegal acts on 5th & 6th August 2019?

During Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan’s recent visit to USA and meeting with the all strong US President Donald Trump in presence of local and international media “US President Donald Trump offered arbitration/ reconciliation on the disputed territory of Indian Occupied Kashmir with the claim that during his (Trump’s) recent visit to India, the Indian PM Modi had sought Trump’s help in resolving the issue of Kashmir with Pakistan”.

This offer of US President Donald Trump was of historic significance as the World Super Power USA’s top administration not only vividly accepted that the Jammu & Kashmir is a disputed territory between Pakistan and India but it also tacitly rejected “India’s claim on J&K that its India’s eternal part”.

Indian Politicians, government and the extremist Hindu being severely furious on the US President Donald Trump’s admittance of the Pakistan’s stance over the J&K region again started false propaganda of Pakistan’s involvement in terrorism in the Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir and in retaliation revoked the Article 370 and related sub articles in haste and without considering the long lasting implications of the decision.

Effects of the Indian unilateral decision on the region:

Both India and Pakistan being Nuclear Armed states having fought battles in the past – were on the verge of third full scale war when this year on 14th Feb, 2019 Indian PM Modi led government as per sources for his political gains planned and executed a fake attack in J&K in which at least 44 Indian paramilitary soldiers were killed in Srinagar – Jammu Highway in Awantipora area of Pulwama district.

The soldiers were killed when an improvised explosive device (IED) went off as a convoy of military vehicles drove by, some 20 kilometres from the main city of Srinagar. But since the Indian claims could not be substantiated with credible evidence the world powers did not agree with Indian allegations against Pakistan which further caused harassment for Modi led Indian Government and Indian Armed forces.

Followed by Pulwama Incident on Feb. 27, 2019 India trespassed Pakistan’s border by sending its two fighter jets which the Pakistan’s Air Force shot down –  three Indian pilots died in the incident while the fourth who ejected himself from the aircraft was arrested by Pak Army soldiers on ground and later returned to India voluntarily by Pakistan as a gesture to create peace in the region.

The recent revocation of Article 370 in J&K by India has severely accelerated the unrest in the entire South Asian region pitting the two nuclear states India and Pakistan just moments away from a full scale war as the Pakistan’s Political leaders, Government and Armed Forces are under severe pressure from the over 180 Million Nation to give a tough response to India, stop Indian Armed forces from the atrocities against the unarmed innocent Kashmiris of the J&K – a general view among the majority of Pakistan is to open up a full scale war too against India if India does not stop its mass genocide of the innocent Kashmiris who are only fighting for their rights as per the UNSC resolutions and international human right laws.

Another big threat having flared up due to the illegal and unilateral acts of India in J&K territory is the reorganizing and assembling of Jihadist Groups from Afghanistan, Former Soviet Union (USSR) Countries and India and Pakistan itself who want to fight against the massacre of Muslims in J&K by India. It had taken long over decades of time, trillions of dollars of investments and killings of thousands of international and local peacekeeping troops to eradicate the private Jihadist Armies from this region but India due to its continuous inhumane acts have again paved the way for such groups resurfacing which will turn this region’s hard earned peace again into oblivion.

India’s illegal unilateral acts have far-reaching consequences for the region, has further severely deteriorated human rights situation in IOK as well as seriously impact peace and security in South Asia with three nuclear armed countries (India, Pakistan and China) involved directly.

Effects of the Indian unilateral decision on upcoming 2020 US Presidential Elections:

The November 3, 2020 United States Presidential Elections winner will primarily be the candidate who has created more jobs and business opportunities for the US Citizens and effectively without any/major mortality rates withdrawn US troops in war zones of the world particularly Afghanistan – and for now Donald Trump fits into this criteria as he has effectively protected US Businesses and created more jobs and is now just days away from a historic “Afghan Peace Deal” with the major help of Pakistan.

The Afghan Peace Process may also get hindered in the wake of the Indian unilateral acts in J&K as it has taken up much of Pakistan’s government and armed forces attention and energy – thus resulting a major blow to Donald Trump in his Election Campaign who may not be able to claim credit for the “Afghan Peace Process” and the safe withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan due to the Indian barbarianism in J&K.

Today DGISPR (Pakistan’s Armed Forces Spokesperson) via official tweet announced that: “Should there be an attempt by Indian Army to undertake any misadventure, Pakistan’s response shall be even stronger than that of 27 Feb 2019. Thousands of Indian troops have failed to suppress just struggle of brave Kashmiris for decades. Current surge won’t succeed either”.

Earlier on 6th August 2019 DGISPR through an official tweet reported the outcome of Corps Commanders’ Conference (CCC) presided by General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) held at General Head Quarters (GHQ) on single point agenda i.e. “Situation regarding Kashmir” that “the CCC on Kashmir situation at GHQ. Forum fully supported Government’s rejection of Indian actions regarding Kashmir. Pakistan never recognised the sham Indian efforts to legalise its occupation of Jammu & Kashmir through article 370 or 35-A decades ago; efforts which have now been revoked by India itself. “Pakistan Army firmly stands by the Kashmiris in their just struggle to the very end. We are prepared and shall go to any extent to fulfil our obligations in this regard”, COAS affirmed.

Pakistan’s Foreign Minister has already stated that any escalation on the eastern border could jeopardize the efforts of the international community to bring peace and stability in Afghanistan.

On Ground Situation in Jammu & Kashmir:

Sources from within India have revealed that India has deployed over 180,000 (in addition to previous 900,000 Indian troops) to overpower 14.7 Million (fourteen million seven hundred thousand) Kashmiris, suspended all types of telecommunication services and imposed strict curfew in the Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) / J&K and has practically caged the entire Muslim population of the region without food, water and medical supplies and has halted all daily activities of the Muslims in the region.

Though Indian PM Modi and his government is terming the unilateral changes for the benefit of Kashmiris the Kashmiris have out-rightly rejected the Modi’s decision of revoking the special status of J&K and terming it as a breach of trust and paving of way by Indian Govt. for populating the Hindus in the Muslim Majority Kashmir region to outnumber the Muslims and convert them as minority for India’s ulterior motives.

Kashmiris are severely angry and protesting against India even to the extent that they do not care if they lose their lives in the process.

Pakistan has out rightly rejected the Indian decision to try to change the disputed status of Indian Occupied Kashmir and urged the world to stop India from committing blatant violations of human rights of Kashmiri people.

International Community and World Powers Response to Indian Acts in J&K:

Pakistan a strong and influential country, with a strategic location being the only declared Nuclear Power Muslim Country is keenly watching the response of different friendly and non-friendly countries on the recent Indian intervention in J&K.

China the long time reliable friend of Pakistan has been the first to come up with clear statement in favour of Pakistan and the people of J&K “asking the relevant party [India] to stop unilaterally changing the status quo [in J&K ] and avoid escalation of tensions and advised Pakistan and India to resolve disputes through dialogue and negotiation and jointly uphold regional peace and stability”.

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres called on India and Pakistan to refrain from any steps that could affect the special status of the disputed regions of Kashmir and Jammu. The UN Sec. General was “concerned over reports of restrictions on Indian-side of Kashmir,” and warned that such actions could “exacerbate the human rights situation in region,” Guterres’ spokesman Stéphane Dujarric said in a statement.
