Nawaz Sharif de-seated from the designation of Prime Minister Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, July 28 : Nawaz Sharif  has been de-seated from the designation of Prime Minister of Pakistan by the order of Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan in Panama case besides directing Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to issue notification of disqualification of Nawaz Sharif.

The court also ordered that a case be registered against the PM and a reference against PM and his children Maryam, Hussain and Hasan Capt (Retd) Safdar and others be sent to Accountability Court (AC) to investigate the matter.

The court ordered the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to file a reference against the accused in an accountability court in six weeks and directed for the trial to be wrapped up within six months.A five members larger bench of SC comprising honourable Justice Asif Saeed Khosa,   honourable Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan, honourable Justice Gulzar Ahmed, honourable Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed, and honourable Justice Ijazul Ahsan announced the verdict on Friday.

The verdict was read out by Honourable Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan.
