Federal Information Minister reiterates PTI led govt.’s resolve not to compromise on accountability process

Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz has reiterated the PTI led government’s resolve not to compromise on carrying out the accountability process.

Talking to media Shibli Faraz said elimination of corruption through accountability was the PTI’s slogan for which it was elected by the people and PTI will not compromise on it.

He claimed that the PTI led incumbent government did not file even a single corruption case against PML-N and PPP leaders but all cases against the corrupt and money launderers were registered during the previous regimes.

Shibli Faraz claimed that Prime Minister Imran Khan wants to have dialogue with opposition parties on matters of national importance, but he would never compromise on corruption cases – while the opposition parties want to bring amendments in the laws pertaining to National Accountability Bureau which may absolve them from the grip of law.
