Constitution of Pakistan is the sacred document that binds 230 million people together, says Speaker NA
Raja Pervaiz Ashraf praised the youth participation and motivation in the event and stated "it proves that Pakistan’s future is bright and in safe hands".
ISLAMABAD (The HQ News) – Speaker National Assembly Pakistan ‘Raja Pervez Ashraf ‘ addressed the “Final Round of All Pakistan Declamation” at Pakistan Institute of Parliamentary Services (PIPS), at Islamabad today where contestants from provinces & boards competed.
The event was organized by National Assembly of Pakistan to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973.
Raja Pervez Ashraf addressing the event said “Constitution of Pakistan is the sacred document that binds 230 million people together and stressed to protect the constitution”.
He further added that the Parliament is the mother of all institutions within Pakistan and it should be respected.
Raja Pervez Ashraf also paid rich tributes to the framers of the constitution particularly former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
The Speaker distributed prizes amongst the students having participated in the speech competition.
He praised the youth participation and motivation in the event and stated “it proves that Pakistan’s future is bright and in safe hands”.
