Boxer Amir Khan’s wife Faryal Makhdoom is pregnant with second child, as announced by Faryal through media.
Faryal took to Twitter to announce the good news.
Faryal tweeted that she was blessed with baby number two and was eating non stop out of excitement.
Amir Khan and his wife Faryal Makhdoom had recently engaged in a heated spat on Twitter and they nearly divorced.
According to a foreign news agency, the Pakistani-born boxer Amir and Olympic champion had earlier announced that he was was separating from his wife after finding out what he believed to be a conversation between her and fellow boxer Anthony Joshua.
They got into an ugly verbal spit on micro-blogging website Twitter.
Faryal posted, ‘I’ve been quiet for some time because I myself don’t know what’s going on. Everything that’s going on is just not right and a complete misunderstanding. The screenshots sent to Amir were fake and Amir thought Joshua and I were speaking, when we’ve never even met.’
Faryal further said, ‘Anger took the better of him and he tweeted away without thinking. There was absolutely no truth to it. It’s all cleared up with both teams now. Apologies for all this nonsense. Let’s get on with life now.’
