Tom Cruise to act in movie with NASA to be shot in outer space

LOS ANGELES – Tom Cruise the world’s top male action celebrity is working on a movie to be shot in outer space, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) said on Tuesday.

“NASA is excited to work with @TomCruise on a film aboard the @Space_Station!,” NASA administrator Jim Bridenstine wrote on Twitter.

“We need popular media to inspire a new generation of engineers and scientists to make @NASA’s ambitious plans a reality,” Bridenstine added.

As per Hollywood related sources Tom Cruise was working with Tesla and SpaceX entrepreneur Elon Musk to make what would be the first action adventure feature film to be shot in space, which currently is in its early stages.

Tom Cruise now 57 year old famous for “Mission: Impossible” is for all his movie role stunts by himself giving reality to the action scenes in his starred movies.

Taking serious risks for the movie roles he flew fighter jets for the upcoming “Top Gun: Maverick,” hung off the side of a plane as it took off in “Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation” in 2015 and climbed the Burj Khalifa skyscraper in Dubai – the tallest building in the world – for “Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol.”

His latest movie “Mission: Impossible 7” filming has been suspended since February due to the coronavirus epidemic in Italy which is expected to resume once the coronavirus pandemic is controlled and other movie industry and theaters also start functioning.
