Senate elections related “Presidential Reference” hearing adjourned till Wednesday by Supreme Court

The Presidential reference regarding Senate elections which is pending before five-member bench of the Supreme Court of Pakistan headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Gulzar Ahmad is being adjourned till Wednesday.

The SC bench during its Tuesday hearing said that it is the constitutional responsibility of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to ensure free, fair and transparent elections.
