Pakistan as the founding member of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has always upheld the sanctity of the organization as a collective voice of Muslim Ummah, said Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi.

Qureshi added that Pakistan has become a member of the 6-member OIC Executive Committee and we |Pakistan| look forward to hosting the 48th session of OIC Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) in Islamabad next year.

In a tweet Qureshi said that “The OIC CFM strongly rejected policies being pursued by India’s RSS-BJP regime. The OIC has been a consistent & vocal supporter of the Kashmir cause. The adoption of this Resolution reaffirms the OIC’s principled and consistent stance on the Jammu & Kashmir dispute”.
