Elon Musk launched poll on Twitter questioning whether he should quit as Twitter CEO – while introducing major policy updates

The HeadQuarters News & Media Group Head Mr. Sardar Hayaat MUHAMMED Khan Mandokhel voted NO as he is of view that Elon Musk is an innovative entrepreneur and technology expert and will gradually bring further positive changes, transparency and neutrality in this social media platform.

ISLAMABAD/PAKISTAN  (The HQ News) – Elon Musk the Chief Executive Officer of Twitter launched a poll on the social media platform on Sunday questioning whether he should step down as head of the company.

He added to his official tweet that he would abide by the poll results.

At 4:20 AM Dec 19,2022 when three hours were left for the poll to close i.e. around 1120GMT  on Monday 3,991,541 votes

Minutes before the above poll, Elon Musk apologized and tweeted “Going forward, there will be a vote for major policy changes. My apologies. Won’t happen again.” The context of this tweet was that earlier on Sunday  Twitter updated its usage policy prohibiting accounts created solely for the purpose of promoting other social media firms and content that contains links or usernames for rival platforms

Another poll was started by Twitter after few hours asking users if Twitter should have a policy preventing accounts that advertise other social media platforms on Twitter – this policy update would impact content from social media platforms like Meta Platforms, Facebook and Instagram, Truth Social, Mastodon, Tribel, Nostr and Post while allowing cross-content posting as per sources.
