Armenians damage infrastructure, set fire to homes before handing over to Azerbaijan

AZERBAIJAN (The HQ News) – Ethnic Armenians having illegally occupied the Azerbaijan territories | Nagorno-Karabakh and surrounding areas | are damaging infrastructures and burning the housing units to ashes in many villages, prior to surrendering these regions to Azerbaijan under the peace pact signed few days before.

In one such event several homes are lit on fire and turned to ashes and rubble on Saturday in Charektar a small village in the Kalbajar district of Azerbaijan, which borders Nagorno-Karabakh.

The Armenians are showing their frustration by these illegal and inhumane acts after losing war to Azerbaijan – they (Armenians) say they don’t want to leave anything useful on these lands for Azerbaijan.

Many war and peace experts term these acts by Armenians as gross violations of the peace pact signed few days before.

The analysts are of the view that at max the Armenians could have taken away all their movable assets/belongings along them but demolishing/burning the infrastructure and housing units will serve no cause but only create new tensions.
